Kennewick man accidentally shoots own hand
A 72-year-old Kennewick man shot himself in the hand after trying to load a gun Thursday, police said.
He was fitting a round into the .45-caliber handgun when it discharged, and the bullet struck his left hand, police said.
He was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for non-life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured.
