Richland driver hurt in Grant County rollover

A Richland man was hospitalized after his SUV rolled over 17 miles north of Beverly Monday morning.

Micah L. Schenk, 23, was driving south on Highway 243 at 7:17 a.m. when he took a corner too fast. He lost control of his GMC Yukon, left the road and flipped, said the Washington State Patrol.

Schenk, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. His condition was not immediately available. He was cited for having his wheels off the road.
