Fireworks fountain scorches SUV in Pasco

A fountain-style firework is to blame for toasting the hood of a Yukon SUV in Pasco on the Fourth of July.

A Pasco resident on the 1600 block of North 13th Avenue called police just before midnight to report that someone had set the lit firework on the hood of the SUV, seriously damaging the paint job.

No suspects were found.

Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to call Pasco police at 509-545-3421.
