Man zapped twice after biting Pasco officer

A Pasco man was shocked with a Taser after he punched three officers and bit another, said police.

Pasco police were called about 10 p.m. Monday night to Seventh and A streets in Pasco to check on a man shouting about killing a woman.

When officers tried to talk with Salvador L. Morfin, 32, he began fighting with them, police said.

He was then Tased twice and arrested. He received medical treatment and was booked into the Franklin County jail on an investigative hold for three counts of third-degree assault.

The bitten officer received medical treatment and a tetanus shot. No other serious injuries were reported.
