Winthrop man injured in crash west of Richland

A Winthrop man was injured Monday afternoon when he turned in front of an oncoming pickup on the Hanford highway two miles west of Richland.

Bradley R. Pinkerton, 64, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland after the 4:40 p.m. collision at Highway 240 and Highway 225.

The Washington State Patrol said he was trying to turn west onto Highway 240 and failed to yield to a pickup driven by Devin P. McGee, 26, of Kennewick.

McGee was not injured. Pinkerton’s condition was not immediately available.
