Kennewick convenience store window broken, clerk threatened

Kennewick police are looking for a transient accused of threatening a convenience store clerk and breaking a window Sunday morning.

A man and woman stopped at the Conoco Total Stop on Columbia Drive to use the restroom. When they became belligerent with a clerk, they were asked to leave, according to police reports.

They left, but the man returned with a crutch and threatened to hit the clerk, according to police reports. The man dropped the crutch, picked up a rock and threw it at the clerk, who ducked behind an outdoor trash bin, according to police reports

The man threw a cement block, breaking a window, before he left, according to police reports.
