Benton County deputies looking for owners of stolen tools

Benton County sheriff’s investigators are trying to find the owners of some power tools and an iPad found in a stolen car in Benton City.

Officials arrested Richard Souriyavongsa, 23, on June 2 and they believe the items in vehicle were stolen in the Tri-Cities some time after May 31.

He’s since been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of methamphetamine. His bail is set at $1,000.

The items include an iPad, dremel, battery charger, Hilti power drill and Craftsman circular saw.
