Kennewick police seek identity thief who tried to buy cellphones

Kennewick police and Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are looking for a man who tried to buy several cellphones at Best Buy using someone else’s identity.

The incident happened at the Kennewick store on Canal Drive on May 23.

He is described as Eastern Indian with an accent, 5-foot-2, about 120 pounds with large tattoos on both wrists.
