A 23-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly assaulted someone at her former boyfriend’s home and caused thousands of dollars in damage to a truck with a shovel.

Whitney Danielle Medlock went to the former boyfriend’s home and became agitated, said a release from the West Richland Police. She attempted to break a window with a bucket of paint before succeeding in breaking a front window with a rock.

She then struck another person in the home before striking the former boyfriend’s car with the shovel multiple times.

Medlock was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of residential burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and fourth-degree assault.
