Pasco woman arrested, loses custody of child after harassing ex-boyfriend

A Pasco woman was arrested and her 4-year-old child taken into protective custody after she left the child alone at home while she went to her ex-boyfriend’s home and allegedly damaged his vehicle.

Jacqualine I. Alaniz, 25, went Tuesday to the apartment of a man she previously dated but he would not come to the door, police said. The man has a no-contact order against Alaniz.

Alaniz then went to the man’s car and damaged it by writing on the paint before returning to bang on his door until police arrived.

Alaniz was booked into the Benton County jail for malicious mischief and violation of a court order. Pasco police went to her home to collect her child.
