Motorcycle crashes while changing lanes in Richland

A motorcycle driver was hurt early Monday when he hit a tractor trailer on Highway 240 in Richland while changing lanes.

Michael A. Cullum, 48, of Kennewick, was changing lanes when he struck a Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Brent A. Kyser, 40, of Powell Butte, Ore., said a release from Washington State Patrol.

Cullum was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center and his status was not immediately available. Kyser was not hurt.

Cullum was cited for improper lane use.
