Kennewick man held in I-82 injury hit and run
A Kennewick man has been booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of felony injury hit and run after a minivan with a mom and three children rolled two weeks ago.
Jeremy Todd, 35, is accused of driving the light-colored SUV that hit a minivan driven by Elonna K. Holm of Kennewick May 9. Both vehicles were traveling east on Interstate 82 near the Badger Road exit.
Holm’s van flipped over into the median, but the SUV did not stop, according to the Washington State Patrol. Holm was hospitalized. The children had bumps and bruises.
A witness gave the state patrol a license number. Later an SUV with front-end damage was found parked in Todd’s driveway in a position that hid the damage from easy view, according to the state patrol. Todd was taken into custody Friday.
