Burglaries continue in north Franklin County
Burglaries continue to be reported in northern Franklin County, with most of them occurring between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., says the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Suspects seem to be looking for unsecured doors and windows in homes and outbuildings, apparently after checking to see if residents are at home. Residents have reported that people have stopped to ask for directions or if they need work done.
Three vehicles that might be involved have been identified. They include a cream-colored Toyota Camry, a dark sedan and a black SUV, according to the sheriff’s office.
Anyone seeing suspicious activity is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 509-545-3501 or to call 911.
