Information sought on man who tried to lure girls at Pasco play field

Pasco police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to lure two girls at a playfield near McGee Elementary School.

The man approached the girls Tuesday evening. He asked the girls if they wanted a ride home and they said “no.” He then followed them for a time as they ran away before he eventually left.

The man was described as being tan and having brown to gray hair. He was driving a white Mercedes Benz SUV with a black scratch on the driver side door and dark tinted windows.
