A Pasco man was arrested for allegedly beating and choking his girlfriend after she was found hiding in bushes near their home late Friday.

The woman was reportedly assaulted by Nathan J. Weiss, 27, over several days before she managed to flee their residence on Road 68, a release said. Police were called after someone reported seeing her hiding.

Weiss was not found Friday night but tracked down Saturday morning. He was booked into the Franklin County jail on an investigative hold for second-degree assault.
