Kennewick woman injured in hit and run on I-82
A Kennewick woman was injured when an SUV struck the minivan she was driving Monday evening on Interstate 82, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Three children also were in the minivan, according to reports from the scene, though it wasn’t clear if they were seriously injured.
Elonna K. Holm, 38, was eastbound on the interstate just west of Richland when a light-colored SUV, also eastbound, struck her and caused the minivan to roll, the state patrol said. The unidentified SUV did not stop after the crash.
Holm was taken to Trios Health and was listed in fair condition Tuesday. The minivan was totaled.
The crash is under investigation and authorities are looking for the SUV and its unidentified driver.
