Pasco man killed in motorcycle crash identified

Police have identified the man killed Sunday night in a fatal motorcycle crash as Russell S. Pogue of Pasco.

The Kennewick crash happened at 6:10 p.m. on Canal Drive at the intersection of Kent Street, where the road curves over the canal bridge west of Fruitland Avenue.

He crossed the center line into eastbound traffic and collided with a car, police said.

Pogue, 66, died at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured, police said.

Police said Pogue may have been driving too fast for the curve and lost control of his motorcycle. The crash is under investigation.
