Man arrested in connection to Kennewick storage unit burglaries
Kennewick police arrested a man late Tuesday in connection to several storage unit burglaries after he was found with stolen property in a vacant storage unit.
Several burglaries of storage units at the Heatherstone Apartments in the 1100 block of west 10th Avenue have been reported in recent days, a release said.
Police were called to the area Tuesday night after a suspicious person was reported in a vacant unit and officers found Brandon J. Disch leaving it when they arrived. An extensive amount of property reported stolen from other units was found in the unit Disch was leaving, police said.
Disch was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of first- and second-degree possession of stolen property.
Much of the property found by officers has been returned to owners but some items remain in police custody as their owners haven’t been identified.
