Man fails to evade police after jumping from Kennewick apartment window
Kennewick police arrested a man early Friday morning after he jumped from a second-story apartment window in an attempt to evade them.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of south Olympia Place for a disturbance and learned William J. Nash was in the area in violation of a court order, police said.
Nash jumped from a rear bedroom window to escape but was quickly apprehended, police said. He was booked into the Benton County jail on the court order violation and suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine.
