Man injured after crashing motorbike in Kennewick
A Tri-City man was flown to a Seattle hospital late Tuesday after he reportedly went airborne for 40 feet while riding a motorbike in south Kennewick and crashed.
Daryl S. Buckner was riding the bike in a construction area near Hildebrand Boulevard and Sherman Street, police said. He hit a berm which sent the bike into the air before hitting the ground.
Kennewick police called to the area say Buckner was under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
He was first taken to Trios Southridge Hospital before being taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
