3 jailed after Kennewick police find cocaine, methadone in car
Two men and a young woman were arrested early Tuesday after drugs were found in their car, Kennewick police said.
Kennewick police were in the area of Beech Street and Third Avenue about 1:30 a.m. to investigate a report of suspicious activity when they stopped a car with Braden Thomas, Austin Weatherby and the female juvenile, who wasn’t named, inside.
Narcotics were spotted in the car when officers approached and a later search found more, police said.
Thomas was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of possession of cocaine and intent to deliver, possession of methadone and drug distribution to a minor. Weatherby was booked on suspicion of cocaine possession.
The girl was booked into the juvenile justice center on suspicion of cocaine possession.
