Prosser man dies in Thursday night rollover crash

A 38-year-old Prosser man died Thursday night when he was thrown from a vehicle after crashing on a Benton County road.

Santiago Mendoza Zenon was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on McCreadie Road just east of Gap Road, officials said.

Officials say Mendoza Zenon was going about 70 mph when he lost control of the car and rolled around 9:30 p.m.

He was discovered by another person in the area.

There were no passengers in the car and no other vehicles were involved.

It’s unclear at this time if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, officials said.
