East Kennewick crash injures Dayton woman
A Dayton woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-car crash on Highway 397 at Gum Street in east Kennewick.
Melissa A. Andrewjeski, 33, of Burbank, was driving a Volkswagen Jetta south on the highway when Ellen D. Burruss, 85, of Dayton, made a left turn in her Plymouth Breeze onto the highway in front of her and they collided, said the Washington State Patrol.
Burruss was taken to Trios Medical Center with unknown injuries. Both cars were totaled.
Burruss was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
