A Pasco man was arrested on suspicion of arson after he showed up at Lourdes Medical Center on Easter morning and said he had set his mother’s car on fire, according to Pasco police reports.

Earlier in the morning at 6:55 a.m. police responded to the 1000 block of South Fifth Street, where flammable liquid had been splashed inside a car and lit on fire. The four tires had been slashed.

Antonio Ponce, 27, was taken to the Franklin County jail, according to police. Information was not available on Easter about why he went to Lourdes, but police say he was not burned.
