Video, tips lead to arrest of suspected Franklin County burglar

Authorities arrested a suspect and recovered stolen property from several break-ins in Franklin County.

The sheriff’s office released video and a photo of the suspect Wednesday morning, and hours later Samuel Block, 23, was in custody in connection with the break-ins.

Investigators searched Block’s home in Burbank after tips identified him as a suspect, said Sheriff Jim Raymond. They found most of the property taken from buildings and vehicles off of Pasco-Kahlotus Highway.

Block was booked into the Franklin County jail.
