Woman arrested after kicking Kennewick police officers
A 26-year-old woman was arrested late Thursday night after she allegedly assaulted several Kennewick police officers.
Police were called to the 110 block of West 53rd Avenue on a report of a woman causing a disturbance, a release said.
The officers contacted Christyna Dunaway, who reportedly had assaulted a resident and broken out the window of a home. When they tried to detain her, Dunaway kicked the officers several times, causing minor injuries.
Dunaway was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of three counts of third-degree assault and one count of fourth-degree assault and destruction of property.
