Kennewick man jailed on suspicion of possessing 2 stolen guns

A Kennewick man was jailed after police found two stolen guns in a Hildebrand Boulevard home.

Kennewick police were following up on leads from the Grace Baptist Church burglary on Jan. 28.. A search warrant was conducted March 9 in the 5500 block of West Hildebrand Blvd. A storage unit and vehicle were also searched.

Two stolen guns were recovered during the search — guns from the church burglary as well another Kennewick burglary were recovered.

Randall C. Sledge, 45, was arrested and booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of unlawful possession of a gun and a stolen gun. Charges for possession of a controlled substance are pending, police said.
