Tired driver misses curve in the road at Wallula Junction, rolls car
A 2015 Nissan Versa rolled early Sunday when the sleepy driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road on Highway 12.
Maria L. Escobedo, 33, was eastbound on the highway at the Wallula Junction as her car left the road.
The Walla Walla woman was not injured in the 5:25 a.m. crash, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Her 13-year-old passenger, Sirene Escobedo, was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco for treatment of her injuries.
Troopers cited fatigue as the cause of the crash.
