Documented Pasco gang member arrested in stolen car
Police allegedly caught a documented gang member getting into a Honda Accord stolen from the Home Depot parking lot in Kennewick.
The car was stolen Feb. 29 while its owner was inside at work.
Detectives spotted the car Tuesday in a parking lot at West Albany Avenue and North Dayton Street.
They watched the car until Zakary Powell, 19, got inside, police said. The Pasco man was arrested and booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle.
The tires on the Honda had been spray painted black, police said. Police also found paint on Powell’s hands.
