UPDATE: Pasco police seek Hyundai in shooting
Police are on the look for a Hyundai Elantra possibly connected to a Pasco shooting that left a victim wounded in the leg.
The car was spotted leaving the shooting, heading south on Road 60. It’s believed to be a 2014-15 Elantra, either purple or dark in color.
It’s unknown how many people were in the car.
The shooting happened Tuesday night on Road 60 south of Argent Road. The victim was shot twice in the leg then drove off, causing a three-car crash at the intersection of Saratoga Lane and Argent Road. No one was hurt in the crash.
Police have not released the victim’s name or a possible motive for the shooting. The person’s injuries are not life threatening, said officials.
Police on Wednesday asked citizens in the area who may have seen the shooting or captured it on home security cameras to come forward.
