A Kennewick man was booked into the Benton County jail after being identified as a suspect in a Friday night burglary of a Circle K convenience store in the 5300 block of West Canal Drive.

Lee Torres, 26, walked into a Richland Circle K store and said he wanted to turn himself in. He told police that friends pressured him to surrender after the Kennewick Police Department identified him from grainy video footage in a Facebook post.

The department posted several images of the suspect and asked for the public’s help in identifying him.

Torres was booked on robbery charges.
