Kennewick man injured in crash on Highway 395

A Kennewick man had minor injuries after his car was struck in the rear by another just after midnight Saturday in Kennewick.

Michael A Mejia, 57, and Christopher Perry, 33, also of Kennewick, were both driving southbound at the intersection of Highway 395 and Yelm Street when Perry’s Dodge Magnum hit Mejia’s Ford F-150 pickup, a release said.

Mejia was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital. Both vehicles were impounded.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating and charges are pending.
