Kennewick police searching for truck from road rage incident

Kennewick police are searching for the driver of a pickup that tailgated a man and then struck his open car door when he stopped to talk to him.

The incident took place near Third Avenue and Gum Street. Silvestre Loya was eastbound on Third Avenue when he noticed a white Dodge Ram pickup following him closely.

The drivers pulled into a parking lot and Silvestre got out to talk to the other driver. The truck took off and struck Loya’s open car door. The truck’s right rear tail light also fell off and should have red paint that transferred during the collision.
