Man wanted in Walla Walla arrested in Richland
Kennewick and Richland police worked together Friday night and Saturday morning to arrest a man wanted in Walla Walla for kidnapping, assault, eluding police and other charges.
Detectives with Kennewick’s criminal apprehension team obtained information that Cager J. York was in the Tri-Cities. Along with the other warrants, he is wanted on suspicion of malicious mischief and theft of a motor vehicle.
The Kennewick detectives and Richland officers found York walking near Carmichael Middle School around 1 a.m. Saturday. He fled on foot but was caught after a brief chase.
York was booked into the Benton County jail on a Walla Walla County felony warrant. Walla Walla County authorities were notified of his arrest.
