Richland police surrounded a Cottonwood Drive home for several hours Tuesday afternoon while looking for a suspect on a felony warrant who may have been armed with a handgun.

David J. Atteberry, 20, was arrested following the short standoff, police said. Two other unnamed people also were arrested. Atteberry apparently had a warrant for his arrest, which ended peacefully.

Cottonwood Drive was blocked off while police searched for the suspect.
