Kennewick crash injures two people

Kennewick police Officer James Canada directs traffic Monday around a two-car collision at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and South Washington Street in Kennewick. Witnesses told police the Subaru Forester, headed east on West 10th, failed to stop for a red light and collided with a southbound Chevrolet sedan. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Kennewick fire officials. The wreck caused delays for motorists until tow trucks could remove the damaged vehicles.
