Police: Alcohol, speed factors in Pasco crash

Police say a Kennewick woman who was allegedly speeding and had been drinking alcohol crashed into a Pasco city sign, injuring a passenger in the vehicle.

Nicole. M. Minugh, 33, was arrested following the crash Tuesday night near Ainsworth and Dock streets in Pasco.

She was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of vehicular assault.

Minugh lost control her Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and crashed into a Port of Pasco sign that has a concrete base, police said. The front end of the pickup was heavily damaged.

A passenger in the truck suffered fractured ribs from the collision.
