Richland police arrest man for sexual assault outside store

Richland police arrested a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a woman Thursday afternoon.

The suspect lured an employee out of a store by asking for help and grabbed her chest when she left the shop in the 1800 block of George Washington Way, police said. Officers received a report about a similar incident earlier in the week.

Tho P. Tran, 44, was arrested on suspicion of assault with sexual motivation and resisting arrest in the 1700 block of Jadwin. Tran resisted arrest and was booked the male into the Benton County jail, police said.
