Suspected Franklin County gas thief, burglar arrested
Franklin County authorities arrested a 20-year-old Basin City man accused of stealing gas from farmers and breaking into an agricultural building.
Jaime Ubay-Farfan was booked into the Franklin County jail Wednesday on suspicion of commercial burglary and first-degree theft.
Police say Ubay-Farfan broke into the commercial building and stole items. He also allegedly used a stolen gas card to take fuel on several occasions from the accounts of Basin City farmers.
Ubay-Farfan was arrested following the search of a property in Basin City.
