A man was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly driving under the influence, hitting two parked cars near Kamiakin High School with his vehicle and then fleeing.

Cody Templeton, 25, reportedly drove his car into the parked on Arthur Street about 7:30 a.m., a release said. He drove off but a witness took a photo of his car as he fled, aiding in officers in tracking him down.

Templeton was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of hit and run and DUI.
