Stolen Kennewick mail recovered in Richland

A stolen bag of mail belonging to Kennewick addresses was found recently in Richland, though the thief didn’t get much if anything — most of it was junk mail.

The bag of mail was reported stolen in the 3500 block of West 46th Avenue on Jan. 6. It was found Sunday in Richland with mail for homes in the 3200 to 3500 blocks of West 46th Avenue, the 3400 to 3600 blocks of West Seventh Avenue, 4600 block of South Quincy Street, 4800 block of South Ely Street and the 400 block of North Georgia Place.

The mail has been returned to the intended recipients.
