The woman found dead Sunday in an east Kennewick gravel yard died of hypothermia, according to a preliminary results of an autopsy.

Pamela Kenny, 59, of Kennewick, was reported missing in December, a release said. She likely died three to 10 days before she was found.

She reportedly had no family in the Tri-Cities.

Environmental conditions make it difficult to determine her exact cause of death but no foul play is suspected, said officials.

Toxicology and other tests are being conducted and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
