Sighting of stolen vehicle leads to arrests in Pasco

Pasco police arrested a Richland man and woman late Saturday after they were found with a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

A relative of the person who owns the stolen Ford Explorer called 911 after seeing it drive over the blue bridge.

Police tracked the vehicle down and booked William A. Wells III, 19, into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and reckless driving.

Passenger Teresa A. Price, 56, was booked into the jail on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

The case is still under investigation, and police ask anyone with information to call 509-545-3421. The case number is PP16-00257.
