Thief steals wheelchair ramp from Kennewick porch

Kennewick police are investigating the theft of an 8-foot aluminum wheelchair ramp from a resident’s front porch.

The resident’s dog began barking about 2 a.m. Friday but the theft wasn’t discovered until later in the morning, said police.

The EZ Access ramp was valued at $750. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 509-586-8477 (TIPS) or at 509-628-0333.
