Pasco, Richland swear in new police officers
A new officer joined the Pasco Police Department this week. And Richland gained two new officers.
Officer Jason Nunez took the oath in Pasco and will start in the patrol division. He has been with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department for 17 years, working in the patrol, detectives, drug court and other assignments.
Nunez, who is bilingual in Spanish and English, served in the Marines and has two college degrees.
Richland police swore in new Officers Lionel Carmona and Calvin Nash IV.
Both officers will be sent to the academy on Feb. 5 for six months of training.
