Level 3 sex offender registers in Franklin County

A level 3 sex offender has registered as living in Franklin County, but also has been seen in areas and cities in Benton County, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Jerome Lionel Pleasant, 25, is 6-foot and weighs 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is registered as a transient and was convicted of first-degree child molestation in 2006 and for failing to register in 2013, 2011 and 2010.

He is under Department of Corrections supervision but currently is not wanted by law enforcement.

He is banned from all parks, schools, libraries and public pools in Benton and Franklin counties.
