Two West Richland officers to be promoted to sergeant

Two West Richland police officers will be promoted to sergeant during a Jan. 7 ceremony.

Officers Terry Boehmler and Ryan Boyce are being promoted as part of the West Richland Police Department’s restructuring brought about by a public safety tax approved by voters in 2014, a release said.

The ceremony will be at 11 a.m. at the Sandberg Event Center at 331 S. 41st St., off Van Giesen Street, in West Richland.
