Hanford High grad’s daughters killed in murder-suicide in Arizona

Authorities say a Tucson man who fatally shot his two young daughters Wednesday has died at a hospital.

The girls’ mother was Stacy Flowers Parker, who graduated in 2001 from Hanford High School in Richland.

Levi Parker, 37, turned the gun on himself after he shot the two children, according to police reports.

Pima County Sheriff’s officials say 37-year-old Levi Parker was pronounced dead early Thursday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had been on life support.

Authorities say the girls’ mother called 911 shortly about 7 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a threatening phone call from her estranged husband, who had the children with him.

Deputies went to Parker’s home and spoke with him from outside the front door. They then heard a gunshot and forced entry into the house.

Deputies say they found the man and his daughters — 5-year-old Haylee Parker and 8-year-old Mackenzie Parker — all with gunshot wounds.

The older girl was pronounced dead at the scene and the 5-year-old died at a hospital.

Money is being collected for funeral arrangements for the children at gofundme.com/5gg9ybwk.
