Boys & Girls Clubs warns of holiday scam

A man reportedly tried to scam a Kennewick business out of toys and other donations by claiming to be with the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The organization wants to warn people that it is not sending employees door-to-door to collect donations.

The man came into the business with a child and an owner called the organization after the pair left.

Kennewick police are investigating.
