3 injured in two-vehicle crash in Richland

Three people were injured after a semi and a pickup truck collided on snowy roads Thursday afternoon in Richland, the Washington State Patrol said. The crash backed up traffic during the Hanford commute.

Cameron R. Watt, 36, of Kennewick, was driving a red 1982 GMC semi west on Highway 240 at Airport Road about 3:43 p.m. when he lost control, entered the eastbound lane and struck a pickup heading the opposite direction.

The 2000 Ford F250 pickup was driven by Levi R. Frost, 26, of Kennewick. Brian E. Joyner, 37, of Richland, was a passenger.

All three men were injured and taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with unknown injuries, the staet patrol said.

The cause is under investigation, the state patrol said.
